Julie Magrane has worked in the sports marketing industry for over 23 years. Her efforts over 17 years at Priority Sports have resulted in numerous national endorsement opportunities for our clients, as well as countless regional and local deals. She has also cultivated the speaking careers of many of our current and retired clients. Julie is the lead negotiator on our clients’ broadcasting deals and has worked with all the major networks. She has secured unique entertainment opportunities for many of our clients – from acting roles in major motion pictures to lead and cameo roles on hit network and cable TV shows. Equally important, Julie plays a role in our players’ efforts to give back to their communities through charitable programs. Before joining Priority Sports, Julie climbed the ranks of the South Bend Silver Hawks minor league baseball organization, working her way up to Assistant General Manager and managing everything from team marketing to game day operations. Julie attended Purdue University and studied Sports Marketing. She resides in Chicago, Illinois.
Alex joined the marketing team at Priority Sports in early 2011. Prior to joining Priority Sports, he spent 6 years at the NBA in the Entertainment & Marketing group where he focused on spokesperson agreements, player appearances, public relations, and overall player branding. Alex has 15+ years of experience in the sports industry - also working on the sports desk at the New York Times and in the basketball operations department of the New Jersey Nets. In 2008, Alex received his MBA in Sports Management from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University. He also has a BA in History from the University of Wisconsin. He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife, Lisa.
Rachel joined Priority Sports as the Communications Coordinator in September of 2014. She facilitates all communication between the media and athletes in order to organize interviews and media obligations for our clients. Rachel uses her experience in public relations and social media to help our agency and athletes improve upon their own personal brands. Prior to joining Priority Sports, Rachel worked for the Texas Longhorns Men's Basketball program and the San Antonio Spurs Development League team, the Austin Spurs. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies at the University of Texas. She currently resides in downtown Chicago.
Brian joined Priority Sports in the summer of 2015 as Director of Marketing. His role at Priority is to drive revenue for our family of clients, while finding unique and creative ways to build their brands throughout corporate America. Before coming to Priority, Brian spent three years in IMG’s talent marketing group, where he specialized in negotiating off the field partnerships for their stable of athletes, entertainers, and broadcast personalities - which included two Hall of Fame quarterbacks, a Super Bowl MVP, a Pro Bowl wide receiver, and an American League MVP in baseball. Brian also worked for Octagon and the Detroit Pistons, where he was named their top overall salesperson in only his second season with the team. A native of Michigan and adoptee from South Korea, he received a degree in Business Economics from Brown University and currently resides in downtown Chicago.
Elissa Rasch joined Priority Sports as a Marketing and Client Services Coordinator in 2018. Her primary roles include building and maintaining corporate partner and agency relationships, coordinating appearances, endorsements and activations on behalf of our players and assisting in their off court and off the field activities. Prior to joining Priority, she was the primary liaison for all radio partnerships in the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox broadcast at Cumulus Media. Elissa uses her background and knowledge to exceed our athletes marketing and client services wants and needs all year around. Additionally, she serves on the board of event officers for a local, non-for-profit organization Search for Vision and volunteers with the Special Olympics and various other not-for-profit organizations. She loves giving back and equally enjoys assisting with community outreach opportunities for our athletes. Elissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media at DePaul University. She currently resides in downtown Chicago.
