Kyle is married to his high school sweetheart, Ayahna Cornish-Lowry, and they have two sons together.
Kyle is an absolute legend in Toronto – he was a fan favorite and leader of the franchise.
He completely transformed the organization and united a Toronto community that hadn’t always been basketball fans.
In 2016, Kyle led the Raptors to their first Eastern Conference Finals and ultimately brought Toronto their first NBA Finals championship in 2019.
Kyle is an avid golfer and has participated in the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe during the offseason.
Kyle and his wife, who are both from Philly, started the Lowry Love Foundation in 2013 to provide resources and be a positive impact to the communities in Philadelphia and Toronto.
His foundation hosts multiple events throughout the year in Philadelphia and Toronto to raise money for the various services that the foundation provides to the underprivileged communities.
The events include holiday gift shopping sprees, high school basketball tournaments, Thanksgiving turkey drives, fundraiser walks/runs, and more.
Kyle’s devotion to Philly runs deep. He recently made a big donation to Villanova University where he was a star basketball player.
Kyle has spoken out on social justice issues and participated in peaceful protests in Philadelphia during the summer of 2020.
He is also a founding member of the More Than A Vote campaign, a group of black athletes and artists working to fight systematic racism and educate their communities.
