The Falcons agreed to terms with veteran guard James Carpenter on Wednesday in hopes to continue to fortify their offensive line.

Carpenter, 29, has spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets prior to his arrival in Atlanta. He was the starting left guard for the Seahawks when Dan Quinn was the defensive coordinator and Seattle won Super Bowl XLVIII. The addition of Carpenter gives the Falcons another veteran presence along the offensive line.
