How was your weekend?

Here’s how Grizzlies rookie point guard Jevon Carter spent his Friday morning he participated in shootaround with the Memphis Hustle at the Landers Center in Southaven before driving 17.5 miles to FedExForum in time to practice with the Grizzlies at noon.

By late afternoon, he was back in Southaven, where he scored 25 points in 38 minutes and led the Hustle to a 124-111 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers that night.

The next morning? Back at FedExForum for shootaround as part of the Grizzlies active roster for Saturday night’s game against Philadelphia. Finally, on Sunday, he played with the Hustle again, scoring a team-high 19 points in a 132-86 win over the Austin Spurs.

“I’m able to get to the arena with no GPS,” Carter said with a smirk after a recent practice with the Grizzlies.
